Rune Saint John is the heir scion of the Sun Court. Rune's Companion is Brandon Saint John and together they are the last of the Sun Throne.

Background
When he was fifteen years old, he was captured by nine men wearing animal masks as he was coming home drunk from a party; they captured Brand as well, who was unconscious. While they were captured, the raid of the Sun Court took place. When Brand regained consciousness, they were able to escape.

Brand is Rune's Companion and bodyguard; his closest friend and protector since birth. He does his best to keep Rune's impulses in check. He is very tired.
Addam Saint Nicholas
Rune rescued him from Farstrike Castle. Addam is convinced that Rune is his Talla.
Matthias Saint Valentine
Elena Saint Valentine gave Rune the task of ensuring that Mattias survives until he is of adult age, which for Atlanteans in 21 years old, in exchange for the emerald ring sigil. He is very aware of Max's crush on him and is kind of uncomfortable about it as he sees Max as a child that he protects.
Geoffrey Saint Talbot
Rune and Geoffrey were romantically involved, but Geoffrey shut him off completely when The Sun Court fell.
Queenie
Queenie is the woman who takes care of Rune and Brand's house, as well as Rune and Brand in some ways.
Lord Tower
The Tower acts as a sort of mentor to Rune, and Rune does jobs for him; he took Rune in when the Sun court fell. Not even Rune really knows what exactly he is to Lord Tower, but he does know that he's important to him.
