Brand is Rune's Companion and bodyguard; his closest friend and protector since birth. He does his best to keep Rune's impulses in check. He is very tired.

Rune is very aware of Max's crush on him and is kind of uncomfortable about it as he sees Max as a child that he protects.

Jeffrey Saint Talbot

Rune and Jeffrey were romantically involved, but Jeffrey shut him off completely when The Sun Court fell.

Queenie

Queenie is the human woman who takes care of Rune and Brand's house.

Lord Tower

The Tower acts as a sort of mentor to Rune, and Rune does jobs for him.
